Sesame Tofu with rice
Ingredients
- 16 oz tofu
- Cornstarch
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon veggie oil
Sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1.5 tsp sambal oelek
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1/2 tsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Make rice
- Cook tofu & make crispy. This can be done by coating in oil and corn starch. Feel free to add whatever other spices strike your fancy
- Make sauce
- Add sesame oil & veggie oil to large pan & bring to heat (med-high)
- Add tofu to pan to brown
- Add sauce to pan. Will thicken immediately.
- Toss tofu to cover then serve over rice
